I need to start posting this advertisement now whilst, I would hope, people are still actively checking out our media. I am right behind our teams still competing in this years comp however raising the AGM in a couple of weeks from now may be a little too late for what we are trying to achieve.

I cannot emphasise enough how important this meeting is as we look to the way forward for 2016 and beyond. I know this theme comes out every year however after some years now of running the Club with a skeleton crew, it is time to go the extra yard and maximise and refresh our committee structure.
Please discuss this with the person next to you. The contribution of our ‘Helpers’ around the Club is greatly valued and we will never stop asking for that contribution however, for the committee we need people to stand up and be a recognised committee / executive member. There is ample experience and mentoring available so please do not think you are coming in blind.
If we can get a large committee established it will assist us on the field and court greatly. A genuine Sponsorship sub-committee to co-ordinate sponsorship funding, same again for Social functions – both these items fell away in 2015 and this hurts our bottom line to make the Club tick. Getting back on top of these items is a must. …and then there’s the ongoing saga of getting our own Netball Courts built.
So, have that discussion with your peers and family and please get along to the AGM. I am more than happy to discuss with anyone, one on one, should you seek clarification on roles within the Committee.
